Dear Friends,
We have had a hard winter here in Malta, at least by Maltese standards, and we are much in need of refreshed minds and hearts. The sighs of relief around the island as the temperatures have risen slightly are almost audible. This year it has been as if Lent has belonged quite literally to the winter and Eastertide has brought the spring. But now Eastertide is upon us again and with it God holds out to us the opportunity of refreshing our minds and hearts in the wonder of his story. The story of new life has been acted out before us and around us as the land itself seems to have been raised to new life.
