From the Minister’s study...
Dear Friends,
I suppose like me you sometimes get the feeling that time is rushing by. As I write, it’s already mid-January, I think I've got used to writing “2004” on letters and cheques, we’ve finally eaten the last of the Christmas cake, people have returned from their trips to UK or wherever they went to see family and friends, other people have gone back to UK after their holiday in Malta; in short, it’s all starting to come back to normal. We settle back into our routine and it carries us along, time seems to pass without our really noticing it, until the next landmark when we have to make a special effort and then we notice how “it’s no sooner one Christmas than it’s the next.” Time is flying by and I at least rather feel that I’m standing on the edge of things and there isn’t as much time left as there used to be to make that definitive contribution which has eluded me so far.
